Microwave Motion Sensor - Wall or Ceiling Mounted

A microwave motion sensor which can be installed on the ceiling or the wall. 

Energy saving with an automated sensor which detects movement from a range of 0.5-6m at 360°. The lamp only turns on when movement is detected meaning this fitting is ideal for illuminating hallways or walk-in wardrobes at your convenience, it could be used in commercial buildings such as toilet areas.

The sensor lights up for a duration of 3 seconds to 30 minutes once movement is detected. The duration can be adjusted by a switch on the side of the fitting, which allows you to set the duration to suit your preference. 

Lux levels adjustable - 1-2000 lux.

Compatible with 1000w halogen, 500w CFL or LED lamps or fittings up to a maximum wattage of 300. There is no minimum load, this is perfect for low wattage LED lamp and fittings.

Manual over ride function - allows you to turn your lights or fittings to be permanently on.

Why use a Microwave sensor?
Microwave sensors have a higher sensitivity and higher coverage range than most PIR sensors, They also have a higher false alarm rate. 
Microwave sensors have a continuous field of detection zone where as PIR sensor has slotted detection zone. Hence why some PIR sensors may miss out objects. 
Microwave sensors are suitable for larger areas.
