Hi, Can these lights be used with a sensor?
Yes, these can be wired into an independent sensor.

Does coloured ABS POLYCARBONATE fade in sunlight.
ABS polycarbonate has better stability than acrylic, but after some time (10 years by my own experience) the colour does fade and take on a yellow hue, which is better than uPVC which crumbles and acrylic which becomes brittle.

A customer wants to install one of these upside down. Is this possible will it affect the IP rating and drainage?
We have looked at the product and whilst it could be installed up the opposite way we cannot guarantee this would not affect it's IP rating so we are going to say no. Installing upside down is not a possibility.

Are these lights passive or just a simple on/off? Thanks
These lights are controlled by an on/ off switch.

Can these lights be daisy chained?
Yes, there is a cable entry for in and out.

Are these mains connection? Do they require a transformer?
These are wired straight to mains - no transformer is required.

What's the ideal distance from the ground the 160mm lights need to be fixed for optimum use?
There is no set distance from the ground, as it depends on the environment and use.

I have just purchased 4 lights from your company. And wanted to ask you how many lights can I run off of one transformer?
These lights do not require a transformer.

How do I add the filter to the light?
Once the cover has been removed you can add the filter, then place the cover back on. This is easier to do before installation.

Do these come in warm white ?
A film filter is included allowing you to create a 3000k (warm white) lighting effect.

Does the whole unit need replacing if the bulb goes or can you replace the bulb?
The LED chip has a life of 30,000 hours, its compact design means you won’t be able to pick one up when doing the food shop but if there is a premature failure replacement spares should be available. The LED chip would operate for ten years if used every day for eight hours.

Please can you tell me if these lights can be directly wired into the mains?
Yes, this is a mains fitting.
