I`m looking for a pendant light for my old cottage. It has low ceilings so the minimum is very important if I`m not to keep bashing my head on it when the table is put away. What is the minimum drop? With the cable tied up as high as possible?
You could potentially pull it all the way to the ceiling but you`d then have a long piece of flex hanging down. You can permanently adjust the height at the ceiling rose by pulling the cable through, cutting, and rewiring the three wires. You could adjust this to half a metre for example, then have the ability to pull it up to 25cm from the ceiling. Here is a link to some other Rise and Fall pendants
